Was auch immer der Auslöser zur Gründung einer Band sein mag, im Fall der Österreichischen Glam Metal Formation Mädhouse war es jedenfalls 2017 eine Zusammenkunft von Metalfans auf einem, na wie soll es anders sein, Metal Konzertes. So gründete der damals achtzehnjährige Micky Stixx also mit Gleichgesinnten die Band. Inspiriert von legendären Acts wie Mötley Crüe, Skid Row und Ratt, verbindet Mädhouse die rohe Energie des klassischen Glam Metal mit einem modernen Hardrock-Touch. Nach den Veröffentlichungen, „Money Talks Bullshit Walks“ (2019), „Bad Habits“ (2021), und dem ausgereifteren und aggressiveren Nachfolger, „Down ‚N‘ Dirty” (2022) sowie unzähligen Live Acts auf denen man stets für ausgelassene Stimmung und beste Unterhaltung sorgt, kommt nun Album Nummer vier. „Plead The Fifth” erschien genau gestern, am 11 Juli 2025 und sorgt mit noch mehr Härte und Rhythmus für den nächsten Schritt nach Oben auf der Erfolgsleiter. So kann man ohne Bedenken sagen, das es längst kein Geheimnis mehr ist, das auch aus dem Nachbarland Österreich sehr coole und vor allem Erfolgreiche Metal Bands kommen. Mädhouse gehören ganz sicher dazu und Beweisen ihr Können mit ihrem neuen Studiowerk einmal mehr. Wer also dachte, die Zeiten des Glam Rock sein vorbei und diese Style-Richtung längst am Ende, der hat die Rechnung ohne Mädhouse gemacht. Der Glam Rock ist ganz im Gegenteil nur noch etwas Härter und Lauter geworden und heißt von nun an eben Mädhouse. Also Fans und Freunde, dreht den Lautstärkeregler auf „ARE YOU NUTS“ und lasst mit „Plead the Fifth“ die Wände wackeln und den Rock‘ Roll noch einmal so richtig aufleben, auf das auch die Nachbarn etwas davon haben.

Whatever the trigger for forming a band may be, in the case of Austrian glam metal band Mädhouse, it was a gathering of metal fans at a metal concert in 2017. So, the then 18-year-old Micky Stixx founded the band with like-minded people. Inspired by legendary acts such as Mötley Crüe, Skid Row, and Ratt, Mädhouse combines the raw energy of classic glam metal with a modern hard rock touch. Following the releases of “Money Talks Bullshit Walks” (2019), “Bad Habits” (2021), and the more mature and aggressive follow-up, “Down ‘N’ Dirty” (2022), as well as countless live acts where they always ensure an exuberant atmosphere and the best entertainment, album number four is now here. “Plead The Fifth” was released yesterday, July 11, 2025, and with even more heaviness and rhythm, it takes the next step up the ladder of success. So it's safe to say that it's no longer a secret that Austria, our neighboring country, is home to some very cool and, above all, successful metal bands. Mädhouse are definitely one of them and prove their skills once again with their new studio album. So anyone who thought that the days of glam rock were over and that this style was long gone has not reckoned with Mädhouse. On the contrary, glam rock has only become a little harder and louder and is now called Mädhouse. So fans and friends, turn up the volume to “ARE YOU NUTS” and let “Plead the Fifth” shake the walls and revive rock ‘n’ roll once again, so that the neighbors can enjoy it too.
