Also wenn es nach mir geht, das die schwedische Formation, Rave the Reqviem, gern im regelmäßigen Abstand, von höchstens einem Jahr ein neues Album veröffentlichen. Schon klar, dass dies kaum zu verwirklichen ist, und so freue ich mich jedes weitere Mal wenn die Industrial – Rocker Erneut zuschlagen. Mit Ex-Eden tun sie dies übrigens nun zum fünften Mal. Der Fünfer, allen voran Frontman, The Prophet und Frontfrau, The Sister Svperior, liefern mit ihrem neuen Werk das bisher düsterste Material der Bandgeschicht. Erneut verlässt man sich voll auf seine Stärken und präsentiert eine industriele Mischung aus Elektronik, messerscharfen Gitarren, zweistimmigen Gesang und metallischen wie orchestralen Klängen. Hierbei stehen die eingängigen Rhythmen stehts voll im Vordergrund, und so findet jeder Song sehr schnell seinen Weg ins Gehör der gewillten Musikfreunde um dort eindringlich zu verbleiben. So bleibt dem Hörer kaum eine Chance im Stillstand zu verweilen und das Tanzbein setzt sich von ganz allein in Bewegung. Inhaltlich erzählen die elf brandneuen Songs von einem längst verlorengegangenem Paradies und beschäftigen sich hauptsächlich mit Tod und Verzweiflung. Erneut wirkt der wechselnde Gesang des, The Prophet, zwischen Robot, Industrial und Real, verdammt aufregend. Nimmt man seine weibliche Begleiterin dazu entsteht so ein Gesangbild, welches kaum einen „Gegner“ im Business haben dürfte. Unterstützt von ihren drei Weggefährten, die allesamt kleine Perfektionisten an ihrem jeweiligen Gerät sind, kommt so ein jeder Fan erneut voll auf seinen Geschmack. Die Mischung machts, und so sind Rave the Reqviem eben nicht nur etwas für Industrial Fans, sondern treffen auch voll den Zahn der Zeit für Symphonic Metal sowie Metal Fans an sich. Also ein Album für die ganze „Rock“ Familie. Zeh von Zehn möglichen und somit ebenfalls ein Favorit für das Album des Jahres, was meine / unsere Liste betrifft. Kaufen, Streamen, Hören und Feiern. Anders ist es hier nicht möglich!
So when it comes to me that the Swedish formation, Rave the Reqviem, likes to publish a new album at most at most. It is clear that this can hardly be realized, and so I am happy every further time when the industrial rockers strike again. By the way, with ex-Easters you are doing this for the fifth time. The five, especially Frontman, The Prophet and front woman, The Sister Svperior, provide the darkest material in the band history with her new work. Again you rely on your strengths and presents an industrial mix of electronics, razor -sharp guitars, two -part vocals and metallic and orchestral sounds. The catchy rhythms are in the foreground, and so every song quickly finds its way to hearing the willing music lovers to remain there. This means that the listener hardly stays a chance to stay in the standstill and the dance leg starts to move all by itself. In terms of content, the eleven brand new songs tell of a long lost paradise and mainly deal with death and despair. Again the changing vocals of the Prophet, between robot, industrial and real, is damn exciting. If you take his female companion, this creates a vocal picture, which should hardly have an "opponent" in the business. Supported by their three companions, all of whom are small perfectionists on their respective device, each fan gets full of their taste again. The mixture does it, and so Rave the Reqviem are not only something for industrial fans, but also fully meet the ravages of time for symphonic metal and metal fans. So an album for the whole "rock" family. Toe of ten possible and therefore also a favorite for the album of the year when it comes to my / our list. Buy, stream, hear and celebrate. Otherwise it is not possible here!
