Hier kommt etwas Neues. Das hat man zwar schon oft gehört und oft wird dieser Ausspruch nicht wirklich umgesetzt. Doch Lost Zone, aus einer kleinen in den italienischen Alpen gelegenen Provinz sind wirklich Neu, und auf ihre Art und Weise auch etwas anders. Das beginnt/begann bereits damit, das die Band, die übrigens nur aus drei Mitgliedern besteht, tatsächlich alles in Eigenregie ausübt. Schreiben, Komponieren, Aufnehmen, alles im eigenst dafür, selbst, gebauten Studio. Geht es mal Live auf die Bühnen, so verpflichtet man Live Musikerkollegen. Also kann man in dieser Hinsicht schon einmal auf echte Handarbeit blicken. Was nun den Style von lost Zone betrifft, so kann man sich zwar am besten an Bands wie, Bring Me The Horizon, 30 Seconds To Mars und Linkin Park, orientieren, wenn man einen ungefähren Vergleich unbedingt anstellen möchte/muss. Aber irgendwie orientieren sich die drei Herren nicht nur im Rock & Core Metal Bereich, sondern greifen auch schon mal in die Pop Kiste. So entstehen zum Teil echte Brecher, dann aber auch wieder herzzerreißende Balladen die schwer Poplastig klingen. Und genau das macht die Band und ihre Musik aus. Wie Leadsänger und Gitarrist Florian verrät, ist Musik für ihn eine Möglichkeit, Probleme und Negativität beiseite zu schieben und sich, wie der Name schon sagt, in ihr zu verlieren. Er erwähnt auch, dass das Leben außerhalb der szenetypischen Metropolen zwar seine Nachteile hat, aber es erlaubt, musikalische Trends aus einer anderen Perspektive zu beobachten, was dazu beiträgt, einen ganz eigenen Stil zu entwickeln, der nicht von dem beeinflusst wird, was andere Bands schaffen. (so schreiben unter anderem unsere Kollegen aus der Musikpresse. Und treffen damit den Nagel auf den Kopf). Lost Zone nun zu nehmen und in irgendeine Schublade zu stecken, fällt daher verdammt schwer. Um ihre Musik und deren Texte zu verstehen, bleibt so nur eine Möglichkeit. Kauft euch das wirklich beeindruckende Album, dreht die Lautstärke auf Maximum und genießt Lost Zone’s Resilience – Full Circle -. Von hier gibt es die volle Punktzahl für ein beeindruckendes und interessantes Album, welches zu keinem Zeitpunkt an Spritzigkeit verliert.
Here comes something new. You've heard that many times and often this saying is not really implemented. But Lost Zone, from a small province in the Italian Alps, are really new and different in their own way. It starts/started with the fact that the band, which by the way only consists of three members, actually does everything on their own. Writing, composing, recording, everything in the specially built studio. If it goes live on stage, you engage live musician colleagues. So in this respect you can already look at real manual work. As far as lost Zone's style is concerned, bands like Bring Me The Horizon, 30 Seconds To Mars and Linkin Park are the best guides if you really want/must make a rough comparison. But somehow the three gentlemen don't only orientate themselves in the Rock & Core Metal area, but also reach into the pop box. In this way, some real breakers are created, but then again heart-rending ballads that sound heavily pop-heavy. And that's exactly what makes the band and their music special. As lead singer and guitarist Florian reveals, music is a way for him to put aside problems and negativity and, as the name suggests, to lose himself in it. He also mentions that while living outside of the scene's metropolises has its downsides, it allows one to observe musical trends from a different perspective, which helps to develop a style all of its own that isn't influenced by what other bands are creating. (This is what our colleagues in the music press write, among others. And they hit the nail on the head). Taking Lost Zone and putting it in a drawer is therefore damn difficult. There is only one way to understand their music and lyrics. Buy the truly impressive album, crank the volume up and enjoy Lost Zone's Resilience - Full Circle -. From here we get full marks for an impressive and interesting album that never loses its liveliness.
