Man sollte nie das Durchhaltevermögen der Die Hard Fans unterschätzen. Und was man noch weniger unterschätzen sollte ist das Durchhaltevermögen, derer, denen die Fans da zujubeln. Zumindest wenn es um eine Formation aus Bayern geht, die den Namen Dust Bolt trägt und bereits seit ihrer Gründung im Jahre 2007 für mächtig viel Alarm und „Krach“ in besagter Szene sorgt. Zwar kommen die vier Schulfreunde, ja ihr lest richtig, die Herren kennen sich bereits seit der Schulzeit, und beinah genauso lang treiben sie musikalisch ihr Unwesen, bisher auf nur vier Veröffentlichungen, aber selbige haben sie allesamt kompromisslos durchgezogen. In der uns mittlerweile wohl allen am meisten verhassten pandemischen Zeit, schrieben und komponierten sie dann fleißig neues Material, welches nun endlich in Form ihres fünften Langeisens in den Regalen liegt. Inhaltlich erinnert es stark an die einst wirklich guten alten Zeiten. Man hört deutlich die Einflüsse von Metallica, Anthrax und Co. So fügt sich Sound & Fury nicht nur bestens in das bisherige Schaffenswerk der vier Bayern, sondern auch in die Die Hard Metal Szene ein. Hier bringt das neue Werk auch gleich etwas frischen Wind ins Geschehen und dürfte für etwas Trouble sorgen. Insgesamt zwölf Nummern erwarten den gewillten Hörer und machen dabei durchweg verdammt viel Spaß. Wer also mal wieder etwas Moshen und Rocken möchte ist bei Sound and Fury, präsentiert von Dust Bolt, genau an der richtigen Adresse. Von uns gibt es volle Punkte und eine echte Kaufempfehlung oben drauf. Wir wünschen viel Vergnügen mit diesem ausgezeichneten Album.

One should never underestimate the staying power of Die Hard fans. And what should be even less underestimated is the endurance of those the fans are cheering for. At least when it comes to a formation from Bavaria that goes by the name Dust Bolt and has been causing a lot of alarm and “noise” in the scene since it was founded in 2007. The four school friends are, yes, you read that right, the gentlemen have known each other since school, and they've been up to mischief musically for almost as long, with only four releases so far, but they've all pulled through all of them without compromise. During the pandemic period that we all now hate the most, they diligently wrote and composed new material, which is now finally on the shelves in the form of their fifth long iron. In terms of content, it is very reminiscent of the really good old days. You can clearly hear the influences of Metallica, Anthrax and Co. Sound & Fury not only fits in perfectly with the four Bavarians' previous work, but also with the Die Hard Metal scene. The new work also brings a bit of fresh air into things and is likely to cause a bit of trouble. A total of twelve numbers await the willing listener and are all a lot of fun. So if you want to do some moshing and rocking again, Sound and Fury, presented by Dust Bolt, is exactly the right place for you. We give you full points and a real purchase recommendation on top.
