2023, genau elf Jahre nach der Veröffentlichung ihres, mittlerweile, Klassikers, Todsünde 8, veröffentlichen Unzucht selbiges Album Remastered und in neuem Gewand, erneut. Zur Unzucht selbst, muss nicht mehr viel erzählt werden. In der Szene sind sie längst eines der großen Aushängeschilder der Neuen Deutschen Härte, und diesen Erfolg verdanken sie unter anderem auch ihrem Erstlingswerk, von 2012, eben, der Todsünde 8. Für viele wird sich nun die Frage stellen, warum muss man ein bereits erfolgreiches Album noch einmal veröffentlichen? Andere werden kritisch sagen, alles nur Geldmacherei oder gar das Album als Lückenfüller bezeichnen, da Frontmann und Sänger, Der Schulz, bekanntermaßen ja gerade mitten in den Arbeiten einer weiteren sehr erfolgreichen NDH Band steckt. Nun liebe Kritiker und Schwarzseher, wir vom Streetteam Berlin, finden diese Neuveröffentlichung sehr wohl als Notwendig. Zum einen ist jeder einzelne Song des Albums es wert, ihn immer wieder einmal zu hören. Wenn man dies nun sogar in einer verbesserten Version erleben kann, ist dies schon ein weiterer Pluspunkt und eine Befürwortung für ein Comeback. Ein weiterer Grund, ist dann aber auch die lange überfällige Wandlung des Schwans vom grellen Weiß ins endlich dunkle Schwarz. Wie dem auch sei, die Unzucht hat viel Mühe, Zeit und Kosten in die Produktion gesteckt und präsentiert ihre Todsünde 8 in völlig neuem Glanz. So enthält die 2023 Remastered Version neben dem Original Album (komplett überarbeitet) eine Randvoll gefüllte Bonus CD mit unter anderem bisher nur auf EP veröffentlichen Songs, Namens, Fleisch und Laio, die seiner Zeit nur auf der, Engel der Vernichtung EP erhältlich waren. Zusätzlich dazu gibt es auf der Bonus Scheibe ein paar sehr coole und interessante Remix-Versionen bekannter Musik-Kollegen wie zum Beispiel, Mono Inc., Funker Vogt und anderen. So kommt das gesamte Werk auf insgesamt 24 Songs, was wir für einen sehr netten Schnitt halten. Für Fans der Band sowieso, dürfte die neue Version aber auch etwas für neue Hörer darstellen, haben selbige doch nun gleich die Möglichkeit das Debüt in bester Soundqualität plus einiger rarer Version zu hören um sich endlich selbst ein Bild von der Unzucht zu machen. Ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, dass hier und dort auf diesem Wege neue Fans gewonnen werden. Von uns erhält das Remastered 2023 Album der Todsünde 8 jedenfalls die volle Punktzahl und wandert in unsere Hörerliste unserer Lieblingsalben. Liebe Unzucht, bitte weiter so, da steigt die Vorfreude auf neues Material und die anstehenden Shows.
In 2023, exactly eleven years after the release of their now classic, Todsünde 8, Unzucht will release the same album remastered and in a new look. Not much more needs to be said about fornication itself. In the scene they have long been one of the big figureheads of the New German Hardness, and they owe this success, among other things, to their debut work from 2012, the Todsünde 8. For many people the question will now arise, why do you have to have an already successful one? Re-release the album? Others will say critically, it's all just a money-making scheme or even describe the album as a gap filler, since frontman and singer, Der Schulz, is known to be in the middle of working on another very successful NDH band. Well, dear critics and naysayers, we at Streetteam Berlin find this new release very necessary. On the one hand, every single song on the album is worth listening to again and again. If you can now experience this in an improved version, that is another plus point and an endorsement for a comeback. Another reason is the long overdue transformation of the swan from bright white to finally dark black. Be that as it may, the Fornication put a lot of effort, time and money into the production and presents its deadly sin 8 in a completely new splendor. In addition to the original album (completely reworked), the 2023 Remastered Version contains a bonus CD filled to the brim with, among other things, songs previously only published on EP, Name, Fleisch and Laio, which at the time were only available on the Angel of Annihilation EP. In addition, there are a few very cool and interesting remix versions on the bonus disc by well-known music colleagues such as Mono Inc., Funker Vogt and others. The entire work comes to a total of 24 songs, which we think is a very nice cut. For fans of the band anyway, the new version should also be something for new listeners, as they now have the opportunity to hear the debut in the best sound quality plus some rare versions to finally get an idea of the fornication for themselves. I'm pretty sure new fans will be won here and there this way. In any case, the remastered 2023 album of Todsünde 8 receives full points from us and goes into our listeners' list of our favorite albums. Dear fornication, please keep it up, the anticipation for new material and the upcoming shows is increasing.
