Erst im Jahre 2020 feierte die Formation Dictator Ship ihr Debüt und erntete dafür gleich verdammt viel Lob auf der ganzen Welt. Ihr Mischung aus Rock, gepaart mit dem Soul und Doo Wop der 60’er Jahre klingt so frisch und einladend wie es besser beinah nicht sein kann. Die schnellen, ja schon beinah Halsbrecherischen Riffs vereinigen sich hierbei perfekt mit dem mehrstimmigen Gesang und verführen unweigerlich zum Tanz. So klingt die Musik der Schweden teilweise sogar etwas punkig, was der Sache noch einmal mehr den rechten Kick verpasst. Es macht einfach Spaß der Truppe zu lauschen. Dies kann man nun völlig ausgelassen auf dem zweiten Album der Band, mit dem Namen, Electric Jihad, tun. Viel mehr als das wir vom Werk überzeugt werden konnten und dem gewillten Hörer viel Spaß wünschen, muss hier auch nicht gesagt werden. Wer Rock mag und selbigen auch mal gern etwas schneller genießen möchte, ist bei Dirictors Ship und Electric Jihad genau richtig. Na dann Rock on…
It was not until 2020 that the Dictator Ship formation made its debut and immediately gained a lot of praise all over the world. Her mix of skirt, paired with the soul and doo WOP of the 60s sounds as fresh and inviting as it almost can't be better. The fast, almost breakneck riffs combine perfectly with the polyphonic vocals and inevitably seduce dance. So the Swedes' music sometimes even sounds a bit punk, which gives the thing the right kick again. It is just fun to listen to the troop. You can now do this completely exuberant on the band's second album, with the name, Electric Jihad. Much more than that we could be convinced of the work and wish the willing listener a lot of fun, it does not have to be said here. If you like rock and would like to enjoy it a little faster, you are in the right place with Dirictors Ship and Electric Jihad. Well then rock on ...
