Da hast du nun also dein zwölftes Album produziert und möchtet eigentlich nichts weiter als raus auf die Straße und in die Clubs um das gerade erschienene Album gebührend zu feiern, und dann Zack! Irgendwer oder besser irgendwas, hat der ganzen Welt den Stecker gezogen. Es ist 2020 und die Welt steht aus uns allen bekannten Gründen still. Das gilt auch für die Schweiz und somit auch für die Mitte der Neunziger gegründeten Metal Band, Shakra. Was nun? Raus darf man nicht. Feiern geht auch nicht. Aber Musik schreiben und machen, das hat keiner verboten. So machen Shakra genau das, was sie am besten können. Sie schreiben Songs, sie komponieren Musik und sie nutzen genau das was da gerade Draußen passiert, ihren ganzen Frust, die Enttäuschung und alle Gefühle in dieser Zeit um ein weiteres Album zu formen. Heraus kam, Invincible. Ein Metal Album, welches schöner und härter schon beinah nicht mehr sein kann. Zwölf Songs, voller Emotionen, Power und purer metallischer Urgewalt. Ich für meinen Teil empfinde das Land mit dem weißen Kreutz auf rotem Hintergrund, besonders in Hinsicht auf guten klassischen Hard Rock und Heavy Metal schon immer als etwas ganz besonderes. Und das Shakra nun die lästigste Zeit ever dazu nutzten uns ihr dreizehntes Album zu schenken, macht doch alles gleich etwas leichter. So freut euch ihr Langhaarigen, Headbanger und Freunde des einzig wahren Metalsounds über dieses phantastische Geschenk. Zehn von möglichen zehn gibt es von uns und von Shakra die Garantie auf viel unvergessene Metal Partys…
So there you have produced your twelfth album and all you really want is to get out on the streets and into the clubs to celebrate the album that has just been released, and then boom! Someone, or rather something, pulled the plug on the whole world. It's 2020 and the world is standing still for reasons we all know. This also applies to Switzerland and therefore also to the metal band Shakra, which was founded in the mid-nineties. What now? You are not allowed to go out. There's no partying either. But writing and making music, no one has forbidden that. So Shakra do exactly what they do best. They write songs, they compose music and they use what is happening out there right now, all their frustration, disappointment and all their feelings to form another album. Out came Invincible. A metal album that can't be any harder or more beautiful. Twelve songs, full of emotions, power and pure metallic elemental force. For my part, I have always found the country with the white cross on a red background to be something very special, especially when it comes to good classic hard rock and heavy metal. And the fact that Shakra used the most tiresome time ever to give us their thirteenth album makes everything a little easier. So you long-haired people, headbangers and friends of the only true metal sound can look forward to this fantastic gift. Ten out of a possible ten are guaranteed by us and by Shakra for many unforgettable metal parties...
