PUNKT!

Well friends of the harder pace, fancy metal music made in Belgium? Well, if that's right. Here comes the new Iron Mask album. The band has existed for almost 20 years now and during this time they more than deserved their place alongside bands like Helloween, Rhapsody or even DIO. The carousel of the line-up continues to rotate in the band, but, according to the words of the founder and string wizard, Petrossi, one has finally found the one and some suitable singer and front man who rounds off the picture. Mike Slembrouck, the name of the gentleman and what he delivers on Master of Masters can really be heard. With their seventh studio album, the Belgians have continued on their way undeterred and deliver a classic hard rock and heavy metal album which can easily be placed in the upper ranks. What Petrossi conjures up again from his instrument is a melodious sound for the trained metal listener. The melodies go straight into the ear and from here directly into the blood. Wonderful to hear the chorale recordings. Even if 2020 is not a happy year for music, artists and an entire industry, this album is a small piece of bliss that suddenly makes you forget the gray on gray. The head bangs, the hair flies and the ears ring. Friends, grab your air guitar and off you go. The oh-so-famous bear is tapping here, even if in this case it is not from Germany's capital. So, bought the album, set the volume to the full and celebrate what the album has to offer. POINT!
