Rezension by Fenria Streetteam Berlin

Rock on…

Well, dear readers and hopefully soon to be listeners of this piece of hard rock that I have put under the microscope here. Burning Point, founded in Finland in 1999. In all the years of the band's existence, the lineup changed again and again until only the one man of the first hour remained. Mastermind / guitarist / songwriter Pete Ahonen. Sometime in the course of time, he also took over the microphone, which he has now transferred to the native Italian, Luca Sturniolo, who has been at home in Finland for many years. With him, in addition to a fantastic voice, there is also a new wind in the band. This brings together what has been a real figurehead in Finnish Power Metal from the very beginning and with the now eighth studio album will probably reach the climax of the band's history for the time being. The new material is a real challenge. The riffs literally thunder through the speakers and drive the sound to unimagined top performances. Luca Sturniolo's singing, just mentioned, sets the non plus ultra. This album makes you want more from the first note and proves once again that the artists and bands from the far north have a very special knack for it when it comes to really good rock of the somewhat harder pace. For my part, I am more than enthusiastic about the twelve songs on this album and can only warmly recommend this board of music. Rock on ...
